Jintachi is the primary
style of mounting used for tachi or the Japanese sword. The sword is
suspended with the blade edge down from 2 hangers attached to the obi
or sash. The tachi is traditionally curved with a stronger curvature
in the hilt than in the blade.
This ornate Jintachi is black
and gold with a leather cord. The tachi or sword has a 440 stainless
steel blade. Measures 42″ overall.
